Escentia is structured in a remote setup with no office space. If you need physical proximity to your colleagues and a shared office space you will have a very hard time here. Please consider this when applying.

We are working with international clients and most of the literature we need for our daily work is written in English. Therefore, it is essential that you can speak freely and are able to understand complex texts in English. This is a must requirement.

At Escentia we give you a lot of freedom to shape your work and take initiative however this means that you have to be comfortable taking ownership of your work as well.

We are working in an ever-changing market place with new products and regulations making every day different to the last. For us a growth mindset and live long learning is paramount to success.

Working in a start-up environment, as well as in our industry, offers many benefits regarding the flexibility and ability to design your own work. It also has the challenge of some amount of uncertainty which sometimes can even lead to some frustration. If you need all days to look the same and hate sudden changes this might not be for you. But if you can tolerate some frustration now and then the benefits far outweigh the downsides.

Our work lives from accuracy and good documentation. We need to convince governing bodies that our line of thinking is valid and sound. Therefore, we need detail orientation and a good documentation. If that isn´t your cup of tea you probably won´t like this work too much.

Even though Escentia works almost exclusively remote, the role of Executive Associate requires some amount of physical proximity in order to meet up with the founder and also handle mail and other organizational work. You must be able to come to Minden once a week on your own account so a location close by is needed.
